Managing Accounts

Copper Launcher supports both Microsoft (premium) accounts and local (offline) accounts.

Adding a Microsoft Account

  1. On the launcher home screen, tap the account icon (top right).
  2. Tap Add Account → Microsoft Login.
  3. A browser window opens. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  4. Authorize Copper Launcher when prompted.

You must own Minecraft: Java Edition on your Microsoft account to play on online servers.

Adding a Local / Offline Account

  1. Tap the account icon.
  2. Tap Add Account → Local Account.
  3. Enter any username you like and tap Confirm.

Local accounts cannot join online servers that require authentication. They can play singleplayer and LAN games.

Switching & Removing Accounts

To switch: tap the account icon, then tap the account you want. To remove: long-press the account and tap Remove.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

"Failed to login" error? Make sure you own Minecraft: Java Edition and try logging out and back in. Check status.xbox.com for Microsoft server issues.

Token expired? Tap the account and select Refresh Token, or remove and re-add the account.
